The Dusit Thani is a unique architectural hotel in Dubai. We got the opportunity to design the hotel lobby and an Asian restaurant on the 24th floor of the hotel. What’s the look? Imagine lots of greenhouse references, a very tall metal structure and fascinating Asian food stalls.
Pretty impressive right? When you enter the hotel lobby on the 24th floor, you will be wowed by a 4-meter-high metal structure. The metal structure and its surrounding plants and materials such as wood, make you feel as if you were in an actual greenhouse. We drew inspiration from the lobby on the ground floor of Dusit Thani, a beautiful atrium lobby with a distinctive design.

The hotel lobby guides you to other locations in the Dusit Thani. Go through a tunnel – covered with plants – and discover the meeting rooms and restaurants.
As it happens, we also designed one of these restaurants. It became an Asian food market filled with a variety of delicious food stalls offering the best of Asia!
Inspired by Asia’s vibrant offerings and bursting with historical inspirations, 24th St. makes its mark as the first and only Asian hawker center. It offers an exciting take on the traditional Korean, Chinese, Japanese and Indian’s street food cultures in a high street setting. A bustling atmosphere, contemporary eclectic decor and stunning views of Sheikh Zayed Road, DIFC and Burj Khalifa add to a unique dining experience.
Have a taste of bold flavors and spices, served from the dynamic kitchens of Kim’s Korean (Korean), Lucy Wong’s (Chinese), Momo San (Japanese) and Chatakana (Indian).
The street resembles the feeling you would have when walking through the streets in Asia, ordering food at different food stalls. Each counter has its own individual character, taking its design influence from the country of its food’s origin.
