Together with BESIX, Asar Architects and Vincent Callebaut, the Dubai-based interior design firm will design and build the Belgian Pavilion.
Creneau International has announced that following a competition, it has been awarded the contract to design the Belgian Pavilion interior, in collaboration with BESIX, Asar Architects and Vincent Callebaut. The firm will be responsible for the design and development of retail and catering concepts in the pavilion. Dirk van de Haar, director, Creneau International Middle East, says: “We are extremely proud to be responsible for the design and development of retail and catering concepts in the pavilion – We have been active for over 15 years in the GCC market, and now to have gained the opportunity and trust of the Belgian government and other partners shows recognition for years of hard work in both our Dubai and Belgian office,” says, Dirk van de Haar, Director – Creneau International ‘Middle East’ As a reference in the field of eco-design, the building has the shape of a green ark, combining the latest intelligent technologies and technical techniques. Under the theme “Smart & Green Belgium 2050”, the zero-waste, smart building aims to offer its visitors an exhibition focused on innovations in mobility.
